Aural Compass Projects to Perform Select Works from "Four Dickinson Songs"

Aural Compass Projects has recently recognized Charlie Carroll as one of the winners of their 2nd annual Emerging Composers Competition, describing his song for soprano and piano, I felt a Funeral, in my Brain, as "beautifully set," and "captur[ing] the essence of the poem with both the harmony and how the text is set." Aural Compass will program both his winning piece as well as "Wild nights - Wild nights!" for their concert in New York City on November 5th, 2022. The original announcement can be found here.
